FAQ

Booking Appointments

To book an appointment, simply use our online booking system or call to book. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed appointments (no-shows), will incur a 50% cancellation fee, which will be charged to the card on file. This policy allows us to manage our appointment schedule effectively and offer available appointments to other clients who may be waiting for care.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, credit cards, and online payments. Part payment is due for all new bookings and the remainder is due at the time of service.

What happens in my first appointment

Your first appointment begins with a conversation about your health history, current concerns, and your goals. Whether you're preparing for pregnancy, navigating fertility, supporting your pregnancy, or in the postpartum period, we'll take the time to understand your unique story. We'll also assess your pulse and tongue using traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic techniques to help guide your treatment.

Your treatment is always tailored to your individual needs and always includes acupuncture alongside therapies such as moxibustion, cupping and Chinese herbal medicine where appropriate. Our aim is to provide a calm, nurturing space where you feel supported, comfortable, and cared for throughout your visit.

Do you work alongside my fertility specialist, midwife, obstetrician and/or gynaecologist

Absolutely. Acupuncture is designed to complement your existing medical care, not replace it. Whether you're undergoing fertility treatment, receiving care from a fertility specialist, or are supported by a midwife, obstetrician or gynaecologist during pregnancy and postpartum, I'm happy to work alongside your healthcare team. My goal is to provide supportive, evidence-informed care that integrates seamlessly with your treatment plan, helping you feel cared for every step of the way.

Is Acupuncture safe during pregnancy

Yes. When provided by a qualified practitioner with experience in pregnancy care, acupuncture is considered a safe and gentle treatment during pregnancy. Pregnancy-specific acupuncture techniques are used to support your changing body, helping to relieve common concerns such as nausea, fatigue, pelvic pain, back pain, headaches, and stress, while supporting your overall wellbeing throughout each trimester. Your treatment will always be tailored to your stage of pregnancy and your individual needs.
