Meet Dr Emmy 

Dr Emily Cox (Dr Emmy), B.HSc. (Acupuncture)

​

Dr Emily Cox, affectionately known as Dr Emmy, is the founder of Willow & Womb. She provides compassionate, evidence-informed acupuncture with a special focus on fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and women's health.

​

Emmy graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) with Distinction and is a registered Chinese Medicine practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is also a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).

​

With over ten years of clinical experience, Emmy has dedicated her career to supporting women and couples through some of life's biggest transitions. Beginning her acupuncture career at AcuWellness before spending seven years practising at Bloom Chinese Medicine, she developed a deep passion for reproductive health and providing continuity of care from preconception through to postpartum.

Emmy has a particular interest in supporting natural conception, assisted reproductive treatments including IVF and ovulation induction, recurrent pregnancy loss, male fertility, pregnancy care, postpartum recovery and women's health across every stage of life.

Her treatments are grounded in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine while integrating current evidence and working collaboratively alongside your existing healthcare team. Every treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs, adapting as your body and circumstances change. Her approach is gentle, personalised and centred on helping you feel supported, informed and cared for throughout your journey.

Emmy has completed advanced training in the evidence-informed Fertile Life Method and Fertile Life Mastery programs, further developing her knowledge and clinical approach to fertility and reproductive health. She has experience supporting patients with a wide range of presentations, including:

  • Polyendorine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) (Formerly known as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome PCOS) 

  • Endometriosis

  • Adenomyosis

  • Painful or irregular menstrual cycles

  • Hormonal imbalances

  • Perimenopause and menopause

  • IVF and assisted reproductive treatments

  • Pregnancy-related symptoms

  • Postpartum recovery
